Medical School Update

Many people have asked me where I am at with my application to medical school, so I will update you all as of today.

ETSU- (East Tennesee State University)-I have an interview there on Jan 13th.
Marshall- (in West Virginia) They have all of my paper work and are deciding if they want to interview me (not to hopeful about this school because they are tough on the out-of- staters)
LMU-(in Harrogate TN)waiting to here if they want an interview
VaTech-waiting to hear if they want an interview
PCOM-Georgia-(outside of Atlanta) waiting to hear if they want an interview
Pikeville-(Kentucky) waiting to hear if they want an interview
WVSCOM- (West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine)- waiting to see if they want and interview and secondary application

It being this close to Christmas I do not expect to hear anything before the first of the year. So I am getting my mind into the waiting mode.

Baby Is Here!!!

I finally got around to posting a picture of our little family. Aubrey was born on November 7th. She was 7.4 lbs and came out screaming. She is growing and doing well. I went back to work after three weeks and hate every minute of being away from her and her mommy.

Myrtle Beach

I went on a Babymoon!!! Guess what I had not clue what a babymoon was until this past week. It is a trip you take before your baby is born. We got the chance to go to Myrtle Beach for a few days. It was a great time!!! It is rain a lot but it gave us time to be together, which we haven't gotten to do much of lately. We only have about 7 weeks until the due date. It is very exciting but scary also. I am glad my little girl is going to have such a great Mommy, cause I have trouble taking care of myself, much less a baby, haha

Aubrey Jane

Hey my name is Aubrey Jane, I will be born pretty soon. (November 16th, and I want to bake as long as I need to) My mom and dad are so proud of me that they had my picture taken even before I was born. As you can see I am already smiling!!! I plan on having my own blog but that will take awhile so check back to see what my site will be.

Friends in South Texas

Here are some pic of our trip to Galveston last March. Ike is beating this beach up right now. Mark, Karla & Mason have evacuated to Arlington. We pray they are doing good and can return home soon.

Bad at this

I have not written anything in months, I could make excuses but I will not, just to busy. Probably should not be writing now, but studying, haha

We just got back from a trip to Texas. We visited Leigh's friend in Dallas and my friend in Houston. I regret not getting to see everyone there, but Leigh likes it there so hopefully we can make more trips!!!

School and work have just about gotten the best of me this semester. I am taking Tech Physics and Physiology. Also a Kaplan class to help me on the MCAT, which I will take again in the summer. As far as I know this will be my last semester. I will have finished up my requirements to apply to med school. I will either get in or I will not.

Hopefully I will do better in the near future, but if I do not then chalk it up to school.

5K

Leigh, her mom and I ran in a 5K the Saturday before Christmas. It was in Williamstown, West Virginia. We will not talk about my time but I will say it was in the middle of the pack and only a few little old ladies passed me, haha.
